STRAIGHT from his training camp in Mexico, Juan Manuel Marquez sent a New Year's message to Manny Pacquiao, a jolting one if you are a Pacman fanatic. Marquez, the World Boxing Association and International Boxing Federation featherweight champ, warned Pacquiao to be really prepared when they do it the second time on Feb. 26 in Las Vegas. "I'm working towards a condition which will give me the capability to fight at full capacity for the whole twelve rounds throwing meaningful punches from the very start to finish, because I think it's going to be a war, all over again, Marquez told the boxing web site www.boxingscene.com. "And it's going to be even better than our first fight. I'm going to be fully concentrating and fully physically prepared, he added. Marquez and Pacquiao fought to a bloody draw in their first meeting last year. Pacquiao floored Marquez three times in that bout but failed to finish off the Mexican. Marquez is reportedly ready for another battle with the Filipino sensation and has been training hard since November. "My message for Manny is exactly the same as last time, namely prepare well. Because I'm coming into this fight mentally and physically ready for a better fight than the first and I'm going to win, Marquez said. (CRAM)
